Having just returned from vacation, a low-key 3 day weekend was in order.
On Friday night after work, we went to the Christensen's house for what may be our last time hanging out there before they move into their new house! It was bittersweet - we have celebrated so many wonderful times there: they threw us our engagement party AND a baby shower there (#spoiled) and we have celebrated countless birthdays, Superbowls, 4th of Julys, Thanksgivings, Christmases, and New Years with them at their home. BUT their new house is a little closer, with an enormous backyard for the boys to get crazy in and we cannot wait to make new memories with them there.
Their friend recently purchased a new RV that they had parked at their place, so Ben was SOEXCITED to go inside - especially since Flo and Wendell go camping in an RV in this book that Ben likes so much.
On Saturday, we went to see The Little Mermaid - a Broadway Bound show that my former coworker/current friend Rhea's daughter was in. I am so annoyed that I didn't take any pictures afterwards when Ben brought her flowers. It was so adorable.
Afterwards, Greg went out with friends and Ben took a super late nap - falling asleep in my bed at 4pm. Oops.
He woke up at 7pm and wanted to play trucks and watch movies - naked.
This weekend I also planted some flowers and herbs for the deck:
We had a delicious Sunday brunch:
And we played Ben's favorite game - kitties.
