Per tradition, going back at least 5 years, we spent the 4th of July with our friends The Christensens! It has been fun celebrating with them each year, usually over at their house, and this year was no exception.
We arrived in the mid-afternoon, drank beer in the front yard, watched the boys play together, and BBQ'd WAY too much food for 6 people.
Early this morning, Dan, Jeannette and Laryd left for their yearly month-long trip to fish in Alaska. Lucky for us, they needed to make room in their freezer for all of the new catches they will be bringing home....so they sent us home with a TON of halibut and salmon that they didn't get a chance to eat from their last trip. SCORE.
