Ben absolutely loves to wear matching jerseys with Greg on the weekends (although I'm sure Greg loves it even MORE). Ben got a new jersey for Christmas so these two were all set this weekend :)
We took a cold New Year's Day walk up to the middle school and Ben wanted us to stop and take our picture.
Raleigh and Rachel came over to plan and Ben loves to do whatever he is doing. (Started calling water "wa-wa" and sucking his thumb).
The kids always gravitate to Greg.
Last weekend, Maureen and I spent a glorious day in Seattle brunching, drinking mimosas and seeing The Book of Mormon! I was so excited we were able to check out Stateside for brunch, as I had heard it was great (and it was)!
Such a fun (and rare) opportunity to spend an entire day with Maureen - without our kids!
On Sunday, it SNOWED! We were not expecting that! It was so fun (while it lasted, for 2 hours) to bundle up and head out.
But very cold!
The rest of our week(s) lately have been spent with a lingering cold that has truly been knocking us out. For reference, I have not had a glass of wine since Saturday night. Early in the week, several of Greg's coworkers with similar symptoms reported back that they finally went in to get checked out and had sinus infections and bronchitis. Greg went in that night and, sure enough, he had the same! I went in the following morning and apparently only have a sinus infection.
Anywayyyyyy after this dragging on for weeks (we checked back and we have both had symptoms that have come and gone since mid-December), we got meds and are on the mend. (Just in time for Ben to get his next cold from school).
