Sunny Sunday

Another beautiful day I wish we could rewind and do a few more times before Monday arrived.

Super Why and Cheerios to get the day started off right.  It's so fun watching this show with him now.  I feel like we have been watching it for years, (which maybe we have), but now he identifies letters and participates in solving the word mysteries and it has truly become an educational experience for him.

Next up was breakfast at the Village Square Cafe (in Redmond).

My car had been quite dirty for a week or so, but then was destroyed after Ben spent hours in Laryd's sandbox the night before...

...so we took my car to the car wash (the kind where they do everything while you wait inside).  Ben even got to watch cars go through the car wash and discovered it was a lot less scary that way.

We ended our morning with a visit to Grass Lawn Park (also in Redmond) and played all the way up until nap time.

Not pictured, but we also made a Target run and purchased an umbrella and umbrella stand for our patio table.  While Ben napped, Greg and I took the patio furniture out of the garage, rearranged all of our outdoor areas, cleaned out Ben's sand table, moved a bunch of wood we had in the garage to the back yard, put some grass seed down in our side lawn, swept out the garage, washed Greg's car, and then promptly cracked a couple beers the second we were finished.

Greg BBQ'd our favorite "summer time" meal that evening and we finished the day watching Mad Men (me) and Game of Thrones (Greg).
