We had another weekend where we weren't over scheduled (I live for weekends like this) so we did what we do best: lots of playing, lots of parks, lots of laziness, & lots of togetherness.
On Saturday morning we walked around Log Boom Park for a couple hours.
Once it started to rain, we came home and Ben slept for 4 hours. We watched The Wolf of Wallstreet (which I expected us to have to pause once he woke up) and I got tons of food prep and laundry done. Success!
Ben has discovered that my yoga mat works perfectly as a truck ramp.
On Sunday afternoon, we went down to my coworker Rhea's house. They had set aside some things for Ben (books, toys, a sweet bike trailer for Ben to ride in - which means we HAVE to get some bikes this Spring/Summer). Plus, they live right on the coolest beach! We had blast walking around and exploring while Kyra, their 7 year old daughter, kept a watchful eye on Ben. Ben definitely gravitates towards girls a little older than him - I think it must be due to spending so much time with Mira and Maylee!
And seriously, check out this view. #whencanwemovein
It was a nice weekend. And cheers to nicer weather in the forecast this week!
