Meal Planning: Week of December 15th

Review from last week:

OOPS.  I forgot to skip my Blue Apron delivery.  I had to switch a few things around and freeze a few things BA delivered to have later in the week, but we made it work.

Japanese pancakes.  Greg and I just love these!

Blue Apron Meal: Braised Moroccan-Style Salmon & Greens with Quick-Preserved Lemon, Pine Nuts & Red Quinoa

Blue Apron Meal: Chicken & Chestnut Pasta with Savvoy Cabbage & Granulated Honey

Blue Apron Meal: Basted Flank Steak with Beet-Freekeh Salad & Gorgonzola.

On Sunday, we hosted a Christmas Party for our Chi O friends and their families!  It was soooo much fun (more on that in another post), but dinner was a smorgasbord of appetizers:

Plan for next (this) week:

Monday: Pizza Chicken and Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Tuesday: Tandoori Chicken, mashed sweet potatoes and roasted vegetables.

Wednesday: Leftovers/freezer meal

Thursday: The school that Ben will be attending next year offers a service where the school chef makes large, family style meals available for purchase.  This program is one of the things that swayed my decision about where Ben should go to school!  Prospective families can also join in the program, so I thought it would be fun to check it out this week.  They are making Pasta Bolognese, Caesar salad and garlic bread.

Friday: Cod tacos and margaritas!

Saturday: Pan-Seared Salmon & Cranberry-Walnut Stuffing

Sunday: Salmon Roll Sandwiches
